The Quilt of Belonging / Artistic Lesson of the Grand River
THE QUILT OF BELONGING
This collaborative textile art project celebrates the diversity of all Canadians. At 36 meters, it is a display of 263 blocks, each made by Canadians who are from all major Indigenous nations and every country in the world. Through interactive digital displays and activities, students can focus on language arts, social studies, visual art, geography and history. Lessons are available at the TriSisters Art House in St. Jacobs or for in-class learning.
ARTISTIC LESSON OF THE GRAND RIVER
