ARTISTIC LESSON OF THE GRAND RIVER
Plan an outing for your class along the Grand River at the Three Sisters Cultural Centre in St. Jacobs. This exhibit and talk is mobile and can also come to your school!
Join Jax as she takes you on a journey to learn about the history, geography and culture of this heritage river through her beautiful creative fabric dolls as they represent the landscape, animals and historic people who live in this watershed.
Add-on: The business of Art. It has never been easier to self produce and publicize. Jax provides a lesson in what it means to be an artist in today’s modern world and what needs to be considered to be a professional. This talk is a great way to introduce the next generation to the creative arts industry.
