Canadian Museum of History

Experience Canada’s history in exciting new ways!

We propose a wide range of school programs that encourage students to pursue a deeper understanding of the people, places and events that have shaped Canada. The Canadian History Hall presents Canada’s history through the diverse experiences and perspectives of the real people who lived it. Discover our collective story of conflict, struggle and loss, as well as success, achievement and hope.

Programs match the Ontario and Quebec primary and secondary school curricula. Our programs include hands on materials, group interactivity, role playing and gallery explorations. We now offer Gallery Activity Sheets and Artefact Hunts. For details, visit
