Sainte-Marie among the Hurons

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING

This nationally significant historic attraction has offered students curriculum-rich, engaging, hands-on learning opportunities for more than 50 years. Help bring history to life for your students with fun activities and tours that allow them to imagine themselves in the past and get them thinking about people, places and ideas. Learn about the lifestyle and technologies of the Wendat, the First Nation that occupied the area north and west of Lake Simcoe, or walk in the footsteps of the Jesuit Fathers who worked to build a self-sufficient mission headquarters in Wendake.

Paid for by the Government of Ontario.
