Life Systems Series & Intro to Orienteering
Developed by Ontario Certified Teachers, our programs inspire wonder and engage learning, while meeting curriculum standards. The Life Systems Series (K-8) – 8 individual outdoor, nature-based programs – focuses on the interconnection between living and non-living things, and the relationship between humans and the environment. Our history programming (Gr. 9-12) links students to concepts of historical thinking through interactive experiences, such as cataloging artifacts. Our orienteering program (Gr.7-12) teaches the basics of navigation through activities that test the mind and body. Programs come with supplementary activities and achievement charts for teachers to assess learning upon return to the classroom.
