Ascent Aerial Park

The field trip programs offered by Ascent Aerial Park were designed to provide teachers and schools with structured field-trip programming that provides students an opportunity to, not only explore a dynamic aerial park but also, challenge themselves, support their peers, and get their bodies moving in unique ways.

There are two distinct types of field trips available to classes:

Option 1) A leisure-forward day, focused on self-growth, challenge by choice, and peer bonding. These visits consist of a safety briefing then unstructured free-climb time. Students have access to our high-ropes course, three rock climbing walls, a 35ft jump experience, and our Zip Coaster.

Option 2) A more structured visit with curriculum-aligned goals. Students will be challenged in new and exciting ways, completing interactive activities to reinforce various topics. Each lesson includes educational time utilizing the facilities, free time for students to climb as they would like, and a follow-up activity that can be implemented in the classroom.

GRADE LEVELS: 4-12
SUBJECT AREAS: Circulatory System (Science 5, SNC 2D/2P, SBI 3U/3C, PSK 4U), Food Chains and Ecosystems (Science 4/6/7, SNC 1D/1P), Physical Education (Health & Phys Ed 4/5/6/7/8, PPL 1O/2O/3O/4O), Eddy Currents (SPH 3U/4U/4C)
