On Wednesday June 21, 2025, Port Stanley Festival Theatre is launching our Summer Season with the smash hit comedy DUMP GUYS by former Artistic Director Simon Joynes. Featuring PSFT favourite Mark McGrinder {HURRY HARD and GIVING UP THE GHOST} and making his PSFT debut John Fray {Murdoch Mysteries}. Directed by Murray Furrow {THE LION KING, Mirvish} stage managed by Meghan Specht, with Set and Lighting design by Joe Recchia, and costumes by Dora nominee Alex Amini. The show runs from May 21 to May 31.
DUMP GUYS is a comedy about friendship, second chances, and taking out the trash, literally. Duane and Ted were best friends in high school till the mysterious Maggie came to town and busted up their friendship. Now they must confront their past and clean up the town dump, whether they like it or not. Can they fulfill Maggie’s last request? Or will the trash and the punches start to fly? Only one way to find out…….. get your front row seat at the Dump and help us take out the trash!
New for the 2025 Season, all evening shows start at 7:30pm.
Also included this summer are five Musical Mondays, Talk Back Tuesdays; stay after selected matinee performances to meet the cast and have a chance to chat, and three nights of The Simon Joynes Playwrights’ Festival in September.
