“A tale of romance, feuds, conspiracy, and murder navigated with energy and charm … this is why the legend of the Donnelly’s is so compelling!”
For the opening show in its Grace Auditorium, the Port Stanley Festival Theatre is thrilled to kick off the 2019 summer season with “The Wildest Town in Canada: Donnelly Songs and Stories” created by London’s own Jeff Culbert. Running from May 21st, this original musical revue enjoys a limited one-week run with a closing night Saturday May 25th.
Starring Jeff Culbert (“The Drawer Boy”, “Midnight Madness”, “Buying the Farm”, and “Ed’s Garage”), with the varied and considerable talents of Blair Heddle (fiddle and banjo), Dean Harrison (accordion), and Joel Gehman (electric guitar), “The Wildest Town in Canada: Donnelly Songs and Stories” promises to shed new light on an infamous folk tale.
“Audience favorite Jeff Culbert brings his particular brand of storytelling to the Port Stanley stage!”
As an added bonus, for the run of the show, patrons will have the opportunity to view a gallery display showcasing featured work provided by the Association of Port Stanley Artists.
With a varied season, which will appeal to single ticket buyers, subscribers, and tour groups alike, the Port Stanley Festival Theatre provides another season of top-quality entertainment in 2019.
