EXPERIENCE LIFE IN THE 1800’S

Teachers, come to experience “The best field trip ever”! JK – Grade 1 – Experience hands on History in our Pioneer Village by exploring and touching various artifacts in historic buildings. Grade 2 & 3 become Pioneers for a Day making butter, candles and having school lessons. Summer program participants make ice-cream, have scavenger hunts in the Village and play detective games in the Transportation Museum. Christmas Traditions – carolling in the Village, enjoy hot chocolate by the fire and learn about early Pioneer celebrations. Programs may be designed for all grade levels in History, Social Studies and Transporation.
