Your Toronto Zoo is home to nearly 3,000 animals, representing over 290 species amidst 10 km of walking trails. Our Zoo is divided into seven zoogeographic regions. Our mission is connecting people, animals, conservation science and traditional knowledge to fight extinction and we envision a world where people, wildlife and wild spaces thrive.

We are dedicated to providing the animals in our care with the means to live long and enriching lives as ambassadors for their species in the wild, all while connecting our nearly 1.4 million guests a year to wildlife.
