Peterborough Musicfest Claimed

Peterborough Musicfest – Canada’s Longest Running Free Admission Music Festival

Since 1987, Peterborough Musicfest has been the heartbeat of summer in the Kawarthas, offering eight weeks of free-admission concerts at Del Crary Park on the shores of picturesque Little Lake. With performances every Wednesday and Saturday night, the festival brings together world-class talent, rising stars, and local favourites in a stunning open-air setting at the end of the rapids (Nogojiwanong).

Recognized as Canada’s longest running free admission music festival, Musicfest is a true celebration of community, creativity, and summer in Peterborough. Once known as “The Electric City,” this vibrant destination now shines as a cultural hub where music, art, food, and natural beauty come together.

Visitors can enjoy great food from local vendors, explore the nearby marina, or stroll through the lively downtown before settling in for an unforgettable night of live music. New additions like the Future Sound Series and Woven Stories: A Night of Indigenous Music, Culture and Celebration continue to expand the festival’s reach and reflect its commitment to inclusivity and discovery.

Great music. Beautiful setting. Always free.
Peterborough Musicfest is summer at its best.
