Backed By Bees is a Burlington-based beekeeping, honey and mead destination dedicated to helping people reconnect with nature through the world of bees.
Located along the Niagara Escarpment at 6214 Appleby Line, visitors can discover locally produced honey, craft mead and other products inspired by Ontario’s landscapes and pollinators.
Our work begins with the bees. Through responsible beekeeping, pollinator education and locally crafted food and drink, Backed By Bees offers visitors a unique connection between agriculture, biodiversity and what we eat and drink.
Seasonal experiences, educational programming and special events provide opportunities to learn more about honeybees, pollination and the important role bees play in our food system.
