The RTO4 region (Waterloo, Wellington, Huron and Perth) spans from Guelph to Goderich and Mount Forest to Cambridge. Perth County is the perfect rural retreat with scenic countryside routes passing through farmlands, natural areas, and charming small towns. The Discover More Adventures Signature Experiences include a countryside dining experience enjoyed by a crackling fire overlooking the water. Stratford boasts of North America’s largest classical repertory theatre, The Stratford Festival, presenting a dozen productions each year, with a special emphasis on Shakespeare plays.

Waterloo Region is home to the St Jacobs Farmer’s Market, the largest year-round market in Canada along with locally and nationally renowned museum and galleries. Theatre lovers can take in a show at any of the nine live performance venues. Annual festivals in the region start with the world’s largest single day Maple Syrup Festival in Elmira and end with celebrating the spirit of Gemutlicheit at Kitchener Waterloo’s Oktoberfest. 

Wellington County has a rich agricultural history and culture where local food has become a staple. Home to numerous festivals and events throughout the year, there is something for everyone. Nestled between the heritage towns of Elora and Fergus the Wellington County Museum & Archives is a National Historic site located across from the Heritage Grand River running through Wellington County and Waterloo Region. Visitors can experience a number of water based outdoor activities such as kayaking, canoeing and river bugging on the river.
