The romanic comedy-drama We Live in Time was directed by John Crowley (Brooklyn) and written by Nick Payne. It stars Academy Award-nominated actors Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh and premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2024.
Almut (Pugh) and Tobias (Garfield) meet through a chance encounter that forever changes the course of their lives. The story follows moments of their lives together – falling in love, building a home, having a child, and a difficult truth that rocks their foundation. Fate starts them down a path that’s limited by the passing of time, through which they learn to cherish every moment they have. It’s an unconventional love story that’ll remind viewers of all ages to appreciate the gift of life and love.
