The 149th Annual Manitowaning Fall Fair is set to take place on September 5 and 6, 2025, at the Manitowaning Fairgrounds in Manitowaning, Ontario. Organized by the Manitowaning Agricultural Society, this cherished event celebrates the region’s agricultural heritage and community spirit.
This year’s fair, themed “Barnyard Boogie,” promises a weekend filled with traditional fair activities and family-friendly entertainment. Attendees can look forward to agricultural exhibits, livestock shows, homecraft displays, and various competitions. Highlights include the 4-H exhibits, horse halter classes, horse pulls, and the ever-popular tea biscuit competition, where the coveted “tea biscuit crown” is awarded to the best baker.
In addition to the agricultural showcases, the fair offers a range of activities for all ages, such as a classic car show, live music performances, a parade, and children’s games like the fish pond and spike driving competitions. Visitors can also explore local vendors, participate in silent auctions, and enjoy delicious food offerings throughout the fairgrounds.
