Mādahòkì Farm

Home of seasonal Indigenous experiences and events, Indigenous Marketplace, Summer Solstice Indigenous Festival, a growing herd of endangered Ojibwe Spirit Horses and more!

In October of 2021 Indigenous Experiences announced a new tourism experience in Ottawa’s Greenbelt called Mādahòkì Farm, building on the growing interest in agritourism, farm-to-table culinary experiences and authentic cultural experiences from an Indigenous perspective.

The Farm is also the new home for a series of Indigenous events celebrating the seasons; Sīgwan (Spring), Tagwàgi (Autumn) and Pibòn (Winter) and the annual Summer Solstice Indigenous Festival formerly held at Vincent Massey Park. The Farm is the year-round home of an Indigenous Marketplace that promotes products made by Indigenous artisans and the permanent home for a growing herd of endangered Ojibwe Spirit Horses. Group bookings of authentic Indigenous experiences are available year round.
