Join us for AppleFest 2024 on September 28th at the Markham Museum—a day packed with excitement, flavor, and discovery! This year’s event features a variety of interactive exhibitions and live demonstrations, including hands-on activities like apple schnitzing and live historical demos in our blacksmith shop, print shop, and textile studio. Indulge in delicious food and beverages at our Brews and Bites section, powered by Rouge River Brewing Company, and enjoy a vibrant lineup of live entertainment throughout the day, presented by School of Rock Markham.
New for 2024, we’re introducing our convenient 500ML Grab n’ Go bottle of fresh-pressed apple cider, perfect for those on the move. The classic 2L bottle will also be available for purchase while supplies last. Families can enjoy a range of activities, from scenic rides on the Don Valley North Toyota Trolley trackless train to inflatables, mini-golf, and face painting. Don’t miss our engaging exhibitions, like the reimagined “From the Ground-Up” archaeology exhibit and STEAM-based displays “Markham Moves” and “Markham Community Makers.”
