Tours Available Most Saturdays Over July and August, Feature African Savanna and Gorgeous Scenery

Two of Toronto’s favourite attractions are finally rolling together in one location. Go Tours Canada and The Toronto Zoo announce the launch of their Summer Twilight Segway Tours through the Zoo’s scenic African Savanna as a uniquely fun way to roam the grounds while learning some fascinating facts from an expert tour guide.

Go Tours has been operating award winning tours for 12 years in Toronto’s Distillery District and 8 years at Horseshoe Resort near Barrie. “We’re excited to be working with one of Ontario’s premier attractions to deliver zoo patrons an opportunity to see and do more as part of the Toronto Zoo’s Extended Hours program.” says managing partner, Jason Rizzuti. “The Zoo’s expansive African Savanna landscape is the perfect complement to our existing tour portfolio and will give patrons an opportunity for a unique tour on our easy to learn Segway PTs.”

The 1 hour tour is available most Saturdays through the duration of July and August and costs $69+HST per person. Guided by a Toronto Zoo expert, patrons will learn about the animals, climate and diversity of the African Savanna while easily and safely traversing the terrain. Tour participants must be at least 12 years old and weigh between 100 – 280 pounds. Bookings are currently being taken online through the Toronto Zoo website.
