Event Details

A conversation with Christine Luckasavitch, a culture worker, historian and author of Algonquin and mixed settler heritage, about the land now known as Algonquin Park. Luckasavitch will discuss pre-contact and colonial histories of the area, as well as Thomson’s paintings of the park in the context of his life and posthumous mythology. Joining the conversation will be chief curator Sarah Milroy and Indigenous artist, scholar and educator Bonnie Devine.
