TOUR NOW BEING OFFERED FOLLOWING COVID PROTOCOLS
Niagara Bound Tours specializes in Black history tours. Due to the pandemic, it is now a tour that completely follow protocols to eliminate as much as possible of exposure to COVID-19. Upon meeting your guide you will travel in your own vehicle following the guide to each of the six outdoor sites.
Your guide is a descendant of Freedom Seekers that came to Fort Erie in 1851 so you not only hear the history, you also hear personal and family stories.
Sites included in this tour are a site related to the Civil Rights movement, a crossing point on the river for thoses escaping slavery from the United States, the church gardens where Harriet Tubman attended service, and so much more.
This tour can be curriculum friendly. It is also good for corporate team building.
The tour lasts between 3.5 and 4 hours.
